A designer’s path
01 — Slovak roots
Martina was born and raised in Slovakia, where an early interest in rooms, light and the objects people live with became a lasting way of looking. That attention still informs her instinct for proportion, atmosphere and the life held by a space.
02 — Furniture first
Her academic training made furniture more than a finishing touch. It became a way to think through structure, comfort, material and the relationship between a person and a room. That perspective remains at the centre of every scheme.
03 — UK practice
With design experience in Slovakia, Australia and the United Kingdom, where she has lived for more than two decades, Martina brings a practical, international outlook to projects that still feel personal to the people using them.
